For eight months, the road linking Yoff to the airport roundabout has been deteriorating. Deep potholes, water pooling on the slope after every rain and the absence of any signage make it one of the most reported roads on Khountou.

Over 300 citizen reports

Since September 2024, residents, taxi drivers and parents of pupils have filed more than 300 reports with photos. Our team verified the site on three occasions and confirmed the danger for pedestrians and two-wheelers.

Every morning I lose twenty minutes avoiding the holes. When it rains, you can no longer see where the road is.
