At the regional hospital of Ziguinchor, paracetamol, antibiotics and infusion kits have been missing for several weeks. Families are asked to buy them in private pharmacies before any treatment.
A supply chain under strain
The hospital management points to delivery delays from the national supply pharmacy. The Ministry of Health says an emergency order has been placed.
